Service Description

Is your child one of those natural makers who loves to tinker, build, and hammer? If so, we welcome them to our workshop! Each week, they will learn practical skills including safety, design, and forging hot steel into creative and functional pieces. Our course is designed with a strong emphasis on safety, allowing children to develop their practical making skills in a secure environment. The children will first learn the rules of the workshop, the proper use of safety equipment, and how to safely work around the forge. As the weeks progress, they will continue to develop their blacksmithing skills. Working in a hot environment helps foster a sense of responsibility, focus, and presence of mind that can only be achieved when there is an element of risk involved. The blacksmith shop cultivates resilience and practical life skills in a unique and engaging way.
